Rajasthani Folk - Teaser
Rajasthani Folk - Teaser Lyrics & Chords
Was dabbling with quite a few compositions of mine and arranging them one by one (rather side by side). This is one among those songs. Sax plays a placeholder for vocals.
For the next few months I don’t think I will be very active here as music would take a back seat. Till then, I will try to upload some of my old work.

Very good one Murali ….you might want to add the typical Rajasthani violin to this ….it would really give it the Rajasthani flavour….liked the beats ….pretty energetic.

Very good orchestration! The bass track gives a sustained bass drum kick feel – very nice! I am not quite happy with the rhythm though. I expected more pronounced “skin” percussion sounds (like the sounds you have used for the bridging drum rolls @ 1:00ish). Right now the mixing makes it to sound very tambourine-ish. May be that was intentional.
Overall, it sounds fresh and crisp, and justifies the title. My 5/5 for this original piece of work!

@ Sreeharshan: The orchestration is not complete but in progress. Thanks for that idea.
@ Uthra: Thanks !
@ Vidya : thanks…but like most of my compositions, this will also get dragged before it really “finishes” due to work load here :(
@ Bala : Thanks. The mix is just a careless dump to give a basic idea. There will be much more work on this song both on the rhythm and other sections.
@ Rahul : I guess it will sound better if mixed well. thanks for your words.
@Surya : I owe you quite a lot of work. Thanks for visiting and being patient.

Murali – Nice compositions of your own, appreciate it very much.
visualize the Rajastani dance with the guys wearing the colorful pagadis on their heads. It would have been nice had it been lasted for a few more minutes.
Loved it and nice for sharing. Have a good day!
God Bless.

Murali – Sorry am very laet here – Very good work from you, Murali- Very catchy and you have brought in the folk feel very successfully. However not certain of the Rajastaani bit – when i listened to it, the first imagery that struck me was celebrating onset of rains rather than a desert :( – maybe its just me! Looking forward to your finsihed product!!
