Excellent singing Murali and Sindhuja. The instrumentals playing along with your singing was a bit distracting, but otherwise this sounded awesome. Sindhuja, the Yen Mel Vizhundha at 2:29 could have been executed better (I mean the brighas).

Very good work. You have an awesome voice. Your voice sounds very familiar. I feel it as a mix of a couple of south Indian playback singers. I don’t know whether its an advantage or a disadvantage!

Both of you have such beautiful voices- very well-suited for this song.

Most sangathis were nicely done, some didn’t work. Sindhuja’s voice was struggling a bit in the final pallavi- but those would all be nitpicks.Nothing that takes away from the overall feel. I enjoyed it

Excellent singing and both of you peeled the melody expertly for us to enjoy the inner tonic of this lovely ‘love by question’ song. Vairamuthu has beautifully weaved the petals of this lovely flower of a song by asking equally beautiful questions about …… love!. ARR has given it the right melodic touch to bring those lyrics to abundant life like new life to a rainforest.

Both your voices were very much up to the task with delicious angular touches to meat out the rich melody. It did bring to memory the song “En Kaadhale, En Kaadhale” which appears to be of the same melodic scale and meter.

I found no issues with the tune sung and everything sat in its place quite well. In terms of expression, Sindhuja was a bit too ‘honest and innocent’ in terms of voice expression and Murali was a touch melancholic … it might well be the natural dispositions of both your voices, but acting out a song through our voices is also called for by the lyrics in question … in this department, there could be improvement I felt.

Both of you have sweet smooth voices and complemented each other very well and was very nice to hear. The bgm was a tad weak I felt. One of your best I have heard from both of you and suited you awesomely well and touches a nerve certainly. Hats off!.

Been ages since I heard this on both or one of your blogs.

Such a melody belted out by two of my favourite musicians :)

Sindhuja— your voice is something to die for in this song, absolutely crystal clear tone. Probably a little struggling in the higher registers is evident but as Kavitha put it— nothing that takes away from the overall rendition.

Murali— unnae enna senjaa thevalai !? Some of your intricate brigas, for instance at ithanai naalai (0.22/23) is just out of the world. As I have always told you, I see you first as a singer, and then as a composer. And you have the voice to go with it, that smooth soothing tone to put any disturbed heart to calmness :)

5/5 and definitely goes to my fav’s!

Absolutely brilliant singing Sindhuja….you are really blessed with a sweet and clear voice.
Murali …. you are a great singer! I feel, u can avoid classical touch in some places….the modulations are like some of the Carnatic singers(Bhagavathars)…which can be avoided….(the ending places like poongatre(tre’)…mellisaiye(ye’)…Baashai…pesidumo…etc )
I felt that your mellinam Ra’s had extra stress and vallinam ’ra’s are pronounced with equal…or bit of less stress by you.
