A haunting melody of Madan Mohan…. lovely singing Ananya… would have liked a little more feel though… which could be achieved by just subtle variation & modulations in vocal volume… Lata Ji is a master in that area… she brings life and expressions to her voice merely by varying the volume level on certain words/phrases … a lesson all singers should learn by listening to her… on the whole very nice singing Ananya… enjoyed it…

The initial alaap was out-of-the world! Considering that this is a toughie, you did exceedingly well! A bit of fluidity will help a lot. Don’t worry about the diction, but get the pronunciation right. I think it is ‘jhim’ and not ‘jim’

Ananya….superb song pick…if a singer can cover this song without much issues, it will show the class of the singer…which includes, pitching, voice modulations, voice dynamics and feel….!!!

Feel, dynamics and modulations …you were superb.

Pitching needs a little more work…some of the notes were different than in the composition.

You have a great voice, and your biggest plus is how you pour the emotions….so work on pitching and I am sure your future renditions will be a treat to all of us.

Ananya, A real Gem from Madan Mohan Ji. As you might have noticed, it is such a tough task to cover his songs. That said, I would say wonderful attempt. despite the limitations, attempting this needs great courage. Kudos to you. Loved it in your voice !!
