Alexander J King first discovered his passion for music at an early age and later began writing songs as young as eleven years old. Praised by his music teachers, one of his first accomplishments was writing a classical composition that was played at his school assembly. Shortly after, all through elementary and high school, Alexander performed with and composed music for several local bands and artists, as well as numerous collaborations overseas, that have earned him a solid reputation as a songwriter and producer.

Jazz, Rock and Soul is what Alexander J King is all about. Spending most of his life listening to greats such as Billie Holiday, Curtis Mayfield, Michael Jackson, Freddie Mercury and Stevie Wonder, he is a huge fan of the genres and always manages to let some of his childhood inspiration show through in his work.

In 2007, after nearly a decade of studying and nurturing his musical talent, Alexander embarked on a journey to write his very first album: “Big Love Road”. A debut album that he hopes will put “home studio” productions into a whole new light. It will most definitely demonstrate that true independent music is starting to make its way into popular culture. In other words, multi-million dollar budgets, labels and record deals are no longer needed.

In addition, being completely written, produced and even mixed and mastered by Alexander J King, this album will set him apart from other contemporaries as one of the first true self-produced artists of our time.
