Dear Friends,
Rakesh Bhai suggested this song on my last post “Neele Neele Ambar Par” and “What better song can anyone sing for his/her beloved than this one!!” Kya Yehi Pyaar Hai is such an awesome song for this occasion, originally sung by Kishore Da and Lata Ji. Nevertheless, For me and Amu, its been Valentines day everyday and we pray to god that it remains forever:)
I asked Latha Ji for this song first but she could not do it because she was not keeping well. My desperation crept in :) and then decided to ask Sarmistha a.k.a Mishti and what a blessing in disguise it turned out to be. She is such a sweetheart and she readily agreed. She sang the song and sent me the vocals in 2 days and you can clearly see how much talent and perfection she has in this soulful rendition. I got sick at the fag end of the this song recording and some parts I rendered when my voice was not at all okay. But still had to complete it for this day:) So pardon if there are any mistakes:)
I am taking Amu out for dinner today and will make her listen to this hopefully:) wonderful surprise in the car. Will keep you all posted about her reactions!!! also this song is dedicated to all you love birds out there:)

BTW, guys, I just came back from my dinner with Amu. I played the song to her in the car during our drive and she had no clue about this surprise. When the song started, she looked at me and smiled thinking it was the original, which she loves but she and I dint even had a clue what was in store for us.
She became very emotional and was awestruck to hear this pleasant surprise:) It took me a long time to pacify her crying:) but that was such an cute and adorable moment for both of us. I thank you all and Sarmi for making it possible and giving us such a awesome moment to treasure for our lives. Indeed, this was the most beautiful Valentines Day till date.

Rahul, you sang really well at the low registers, but could feel the strain at the high notes. With practice you can definitely improve on that.
