Nice attempt…. Lots of drop in the pitching though…The landing notes were vibrating a lot. The song could be better in terms of expression. Good try overall. All the best.

BTW, Is the nasal normal in your voice or u r forcing a bit on it? try removing the nasal thing, and you wil sound much much better!!!

Nice cover….i liked the start and the esp. the energy thru out……I think you may have lost a little concentration while on the second para of the song….but overall a very good job buddy….

This is definitely your best so far. And I do feel you have improved. However theres still a long way to go. Here are some tips to improve.

1. Whe you end lines, you dont always need to stretch notes. It is effective sometimes, but not always. It didnt work with this song.

2. Pitch was much better in this song, however that still is an area you can improve further.

3. Mixing could have been a lot better. And you added to much reverb.

4. You could have added some nice harmony on this song.

Hope those pointers help.

AJ, perfect mate! This was really a good rendition. Your voice is just perfect for this song. It felt quite original, so I stopped in between and started to listen again to completion. I felt that you might have lost the flow slightly in between, like slightly less energetic(maybe you had one eye on the chicken biryani that was about to get over….and I don’t blame you for that ;-)), but the overall it was excellent!

The best parts of the whole song where you did really well are – ‘lala lala la la….& dooba dooba….’.

Again, overall very nice singing! Great Work! Voting isn’t compulsory here, and I don’t vote unless I have to give 5, and you got it.

Wow interesting. Never heard that song before in the states. I couldnt help but notice that several of the comments refered to “The Original” recording. I have never heard it so I couldnt begin to compare it. I do have an interesting idea though if people want to compare it to the original. Put a different spin on it. The version you did reminded me of something Jamacian Calypso or Regae. Maybe if you did it as a Regae thing with some of the Jamacian calypso style drums. Your voice was just fine. Maybe an english version done like a regae calypso style would be nice. It would set it apart from anyone else, and I like the songs melody, I just didnt understand the lyrics. That kind of thing does really well over here in the states.

Dont know how I missed this song for so long! This is one of my fav songs n you did really well. Guess this is definitely one of ur best! Though ppl have mentioned that pitching can be improved n all, I feel its really really good in this except for jus 1 or 2 places. ’La la la ’ portion is excellent! Goes to favorites!!
