Video Uploads on Muziboo

Hello Everyone,
Its been almost 2.5 years now I have been on this website and I feel that every penny I paid for this website is worth it. This is because there are so many good talent and great friends here who support each other and guide towards improvement.
I have see a lot of good changes on this website and would like to see some more. Would love to see another feature for PRO members like to upload videos. I know space is something which is the constraint but I am sure if all the members agree about this feature, Nithya and Prateek will do something about it.
Would appreciate everyone’s views on the same. Let me know:)

video upload is a good option… but i dont think muziboo will get control on the content… Already some dirty stuff found in this site and removed after long follow up. if video also comes than…its very difficult to clean up things…and most importantly people come here with their kids…so I don’t think its a good idea to implement video option…IMO

Space constraints, Bandwidth issues, Uploading/Streaming Video issues might be the biggest challenges, however, embedding youtube or facebook videos on profile pages should not be a big deal if the business interests are not hurt.
However, one possible hidden disadvantage will be that the reviewing audience will feel distracted with video and may tend to ignore pointers which otherwise get noticed with focussed audio listening.

Good idea, Rahul……and I feel Harry’s suggestion makes a good sense…….but as he said, more attention will be required on the singing nuances rather than visual ones.
My suggestion is if there could be a provision of both Audio and Video…….Video could be that of original scene with Muziboo’s vocals in the background.

Sukumar …you brought a good point regarding the content. Harry ,srini and shailu ….videos have become an option in similiar sites….and I dont see any issues if the intent and content were musical (with good musical lyrics :-)

@Sukumar – Thanks for your views on this topic. I completely second Sree (Harshan) cos its better to keep evolving as I have seen many a sites having the same options and much more and to top of it, they are free sites. I love to stay here like everyone else but somehow you (the site managers/owners) need to keep mixing things up or people will migrate soon to other places where they have better benefits without having to pay for it. I agree the content at times may cause issues but here we all are mature people and music lovers. I don’t think anyone could get so cheap to put dirty stuff out here. And if thats such a big problem anytime, why not just only PRO members should be given the luxury to upload videos? not everyone:) Something to think upon.

So just might get some more use out of it. Muziboo is a one of a kind place and I would love to see it like the same way. And M’boo is M’boo because of the people here or it would have been just another site where you can upload music. More than that I think it would be a good add-on/feature for PRO members atleast:)
Secondly, the focus will always be singing with a pleasurable view of the video to just make the whole package attractive like Shailender bhai suggested. Aur waise bhi, reviewing audience won’t have any effect on them cos they will still be providing the same feedbacks I am sure. And do you even know how many people listen to the whole song before commenting. Very few. So might as well as make it more interesting for them to keep them hooked for the entire song duration with the video:)
I look forward to hear the owners views on this on and hope they could provide such features give the fact that they are competing in a business where they had to mix things up to keep people stay put:) Hope someone is listening:)

I agree with Rahul’s suggestion, though I am not sure if Muziboo’s current architecture would allow this enhancement to happen quickly. This would be a great thing to have as more and more sites have started providing this feature. Nithya and Prateek ….would appreciate your take on this.
