Enakku rommmmmbba pidicha song :) On seeing the notification of this cover from you, my expectations were too high. After listening, I too felt something was missing in this rendition. Not sure if it was shaky. Initial humming oda ending innum konjam nalla vandhurukkalam… In 2nd charanam, ‘onakkae vechirukkaen moochu……’ - andha punch could’ve been better… Loved the folkish feel throughout…

This is not a personal favourite of mine… Very gud attempt… But I could see a lot of S Janaki in the song…. So couldnt feel Adithi’s touch in the song… I can see how much impact this song has on u…Was it too high for you? Higher notes had little strain, and was nasal konjam… But it had very gud feel throughout… Yarkavdu special dedication ah? :P

It is one of my most fav songs as well.

I have been wanting to cover this for a very long time but haven’t been able to do it because didn’t manage to get a good K-track.

You have managed the high registers very well but my view is that the expresson of “longing” “yearning”/ Passion is missing in this rendition.

Liked your voice very much.

Fantastic, sweet, singing! Listening to this song after a huuuuuuge gap. My dear friend and room mate in Engg college – Namasivayam – used to listen to this one often and I too loved this song. I remember asking him if the Music was by RD da. This is where I started listening to Rajaji’s compositions with great interest. Thanks for bringing back my college days, Adithi jee! It shows how much you have loved this song… very sincere effort given its horrific pitch. I loved all those kutti mudichu sangathis this song carries. Such clarity in rendering those… but that itself was negative to your version. you were too precise in hitting the right notes. the rustic melody has this natural bounce… which was missing I thought. I am not sure I am saying it right, will talk offline.

I recorded this as a recording/muziboo rookie w some very primitive gear. I want to re-do this song… after listening to your heartfelt cover!
