I had no idea of singing this song until Unnikrishnan requested it of me. Infact this song is my early birthday gift to him! :)
Unni kindly offered to do the mixing for me. In the process, he has tried something different in the form of introducing a tiny humming of his in the middle of the song. I loved it personally as I thought it accentuated the beauty and mood. I hope you will like it too! :)
Swarnalatha is one of the finest singers in the industry today. It is not an easy task to become the favourite of all 3 stalwarts of TFM- MSV, IR and ARR! :). It is quite a challenge to bring the feel and clarity of her songs into one’s renditions.
Ofcourse, my version is nowhere near the original but atleast I am happy that I did this one specially for Unni! :) Glad you loved it, kutta! :)Thanks Sudhathee, for the track. I still think that you have sung this song much better than me, di! :D

I thought of writing this because i saw lot of comments on her voice texture.
This mix is completely for my satisfaction, he he. I wanted it to be sharp, clear and bright.
And i kept the reverb to a minimum so that Aditi’s small touches will not go unnoticed.

Akka, Back here i am. Tune sinked in ippo :) Unga voice change ayiduchu ka ! I mean not your style of singing but the quality of your voice. I think it is little sharper than your previous attempts and it really sounds good. You are already a very versatile singer and now with this tonal addition, you could sing sharper/ crisper numbers just like the original. For example, Naan sirithal song, you could sing both the voices. One you already sung and with this new addition you could also sing what meera sung.
Kadavul paathi, mirugam Paathi kalandhu seidha kalavai naan ! Antha maathiri ellam kalandha complete singer neenga than. You ve been consistently producing quality stuff and to be able bring in new things every once in a while is such a superb thing. You are the best Adithi !
Very well sung here ! ARR touch ezhuthi otteerku intha song la …. Just like bombay theme/ bharathiyar themes …. Sangathis were subtle and sweet. Beautiful !

@Satish, Balaji- Yeah, my voice sounds quite different in this one but I guess it was a combination of Unni’s mixing technique and also my modulations. I deliberately sung it that way or else I could not have reached the high note. It is not something I prefer to do but wanted to try it out in this song! It was only an experiment and may not do it in the future! :)

@Balaji- OMG-was laughing for a loooong time after reading your comment- “Kadavul paadi mirugam paadi”. Enna vecchu romba comedy panre nee :P. “You are the best”- Sathiyamaa innum 2 months no thookkam because of this! ROTFL.
