When I started singing in Muziboo ( I am completing 3 years tomorrow), I used to get very average grades for my songs. So I was pretty sure that no one is even going to ask me to do a duet with them. That is why I was elated when one day my sister told me that her friend Kumaran wanted to do a duet with me. And a song which I absolutely adored. We went ahead and finished it (with nothing to brag about my singing and recording setup then). Fortunately, you will not be able to listen to that duet (Thedum Kanpaarvai) any more as it was deleted a while ago. :D (check it out here. So in a sense, Kumaran is not just the “Feel Guru” but he is also my Guru. :D
Ninety nine duets have gone by in my space since then! Having had the good fortune of singing so many lovely duets in five languages with so many amazing people, I do believe that this song is a milestone for me. While I have to appreciate and thank each one of these these people for giving me the opportunity to hone my singing skills with each song, I feel blessed to have known and collaborated musically with so many lovely people I will never ever forget in my life!
The choice of the song is not as important as the choice of singer, although for me this is one of the top ten duet songs EVER in IR’s music. Banuchander and Balu Mahendra’s camera were the highlights of this song but only after the soulful rendition of SJ and SPB. I am so thrilled to be posting the 100th duet in my Muziboo page with my first duet partner in Muziboo.
You will rarely find any dedications in my music page (other than for birthdays). But this song is a loving dedication to all my duet partners till date, with heartfelt thanks:

About this song, it was like a cool breeze in this hot and humid summer… Feel and expressions were awesome and those were the parameters where you lagged behind in the past and you have definitely tamed them under your control… Feelguru’s singing was remarkably good with ‘feel’ but felt minor-offs which are very unusual… An enjoyable listen it was!!!
