One of my favourite songs of Vani Jairam… You were really awesome… Excellent sangatis …Loved it. Just felt the initial humming could have been better. Moreover the song was sung at a very slow tempo, breaking most of the lines at many places. Though it does not really matter being an unplugged version, I feel it would have sounded still better had you sung slightly faster….Not a major issue anyway.

Not an easy song to cover. Was a bit slower than the original.
This time am gonna elaborate :D
your plus:
1.smooth voice and flow of singing
2. clear sangathis…. bringing out what u really thought of
3. flawless
4. carnatic base that u have
5. Loved the places viz…. thenoli….veesuthee~~~~~, malar maalai nee~~~vanga vendum, athu etharko~~~, swarams, etc
6.did not try to imitate Vani Jayaram
I would not say them as minus but there is scope for improvement:
1. can reduce stressing the words….letters ra….u sound to be RA REE.
2. meham as megam, deham as degam (already discussed about this :D) enna seyya madras tamizh :D (here it is better to imitate the original singer :D)
3. Initial humming….the end of it could have been better (i am saying this bcos u are Adithi …not someone else)
4.2nd charanam….some lack of confidence about the thalam….used different style of sangathis (vidhai pa…zhu dhu) ….which i felt, changed the flavour a bit….but a brave attempt

Samaikka theriyathu….saapidathan enakku theriyum :D

Excellent attempt Adithi. Need a lot of courage to sing this unplugged, so hats off for that. Sangathis were very well executed.
Agree with NVKji that the initial alaap could be better – some more modulations would enhance it.

The whole song comes in front of my eyes now. Park’la pullayae paathundu rendu paerumae sammandhamae illadha maadhiri ukkaandhundu iruppaanga haha. Chandrasekar hero naalae comedy’aa dhaan irukku. BTW idhu Jagjit singh’oda adapdation aa. Adhaan ennada namba Sankar ganesh eppadi ippadi potaarnu nenachaen LOL.
