Muziboo has helped me connect with some long lost friends in my life.
One of them is Kesavan ! In 1998,we both participated in a famous music show on TV when we became good friends. He became a loving member of the family and attended my wedding too :) We have shared some very nice musical moments when we have had interesting debates about MSV, IR and ARR music :)
And then we lost touch when he went to Japan on work! I was trying to locate him all these years but in vain. Then one fine day last year, I get this scribble from him- he had traced me using my Muziboo profile! :) But I was ad to know that he hadn’t been doing much with music all these years.
Kesavan has a very soft voice which can bring so much feel to the song. Some of the Muziboo friends whom I met in New Jersey over Christmas can vouch for it as they heard him sing live at the gathering. :)
I hope this song will be a great new beginning to Kesavan’s musical journey with Muziboo. He was blessed with a baby girl, Dhyana, last week. So this is a special post to celebrate the new arrival, as he himself expressed after hearing this song :). There is a lot of scope for improvement of his recording techniques but this is only a beginning to prod him to start doing some serious singing! :)
I must thank Babu Anna for taking the time to mix this song for us. He tried out various version until we came up with the one that we liked most! Thanks Anna for all the hardwork ! :)

Akka:- I hope this is one of your favourite songs. May be becoz of health related problems , an usual register of akka seems to be 10 % away from the perfection….That means achievement of 90% which even others like me cannot achieve in the whole career ( I used to never cross 50 to 60 %……he he he)….The natural flow of Akka was there indeed……….Another point is that Minmini was at her best on that time (1994) ! If Akka’s throat problems were not there , you could have easily overcome Minmini’s effort !!! I have seen the usual akka in the charanams & felt really joyful on that…………Great !!!
Kesavan:- Great voice !!! As others mentioned , we feel really very proud to get such a personality to our heaven like community……Clean attempt of this PJ number…….Voice & style are just like the legend only……Also i feel really thrilled to know that you are very very close to our legend in Muziboo….The one & only Adhithi Akka !!!
About Minmini madam’s present status , it is very pathetic that she has almost stopped singing due to health related problems……When she was at her peak , she lost her beautiful voice due to bad health & struggled for many years even to talk well………And came back to the industry in 1997, “Boothakannaadi” (“Aasamarathinte akidum” with MGS) & in 2002 , “Kannathil Muthamittaal” (“Sattrile nanaivathu koncham”)………After that , no Minmini effect at all !!! Madam , we love you so much & we cannot forget “Chinna Chinna Aasai” till the world takes an end !!! A grand salute to you.
About Babji , great one !!! I know u must have confused Adhithi akka with too many best versions of mixing !!! That’s you….The one & only Babu.N.M…………Superb……
