Followed this song from the “Home Page”…. The name itself drag me here.
Nice attempt…. but every song has its own definition & demands…. and this song demands “Nazaakat” & “Aadaygi”.

Adithi… you were good with your expressions…. (A little less natkhat-ness) would do coz its not a chhed-chhad (teaser) kind of song. There is guy “humbly & tenderly” asking his beloved to not to leave him… and she is responding her helplessness “with equal tenderness & affection.” I felt that this basic thread of this song was missing…. may be more on Saqib’s side.

Sorry… I could not hold back from expressing all this.Hope you guys wont mind.
Too close a song for me…. and when talented singers like you can render it…. the hopes are always there.

Vaarey Vaa Saqib ur voice is like tempting a spectator with a melting ice cream or a juicy tangerine. Way to go Saqib. Learnt from the write-up that Saqib is from our twin country Pakistan…. ‘AAs mAyenge’ at 3:18 was nice Saqib. Adithi dheedhi (appdinaa akka thaaney?), once I addressed someone as beebi with a sisterly affection and I guess this time I got it right. Beautifully rendered with regard to expressions dheedhi and I think that’s ur greatest plus. Tamil, Telugu and Hindi numbers in turn, so what next ‘Ulaga Nayagi’ Adithi? Keep it up folks!!!

Wah !! One of the most evergreen duets of all times……great song pick.

Saqib ….very expressive singing, however felt the high registers could be a little bit….there were some flats there.

Adithi ….excellent singing, agree to VG’s pointers…some softness and modulations….could have been like icing on the cake. Also felt your vocal volume was a bit higher than saqib….

All this is nit picking, nothing takes away the beauty of this rendition ….to my favourites.

@adithi, awesome!! very well sung. i did not see any ‘diction’ issues, though a couple of words could have been pronounced more clearly. Like ‘uthe’ in sitaren jhilmila uthe’. It sounded ‘ute’ the first time but the second time was better. Also, in ‘Khatm’, the ‘h’ was unclear :)

@saqid, good attempt! Unfortunately, I know the Rafisaab’s part too well, and I can see a lot of errors ;) I felt, the song requires some level of softness which was missing. For example, words like ‘banke’ in ‘bahaar banke chhayi ho’ and ‘jawan’ in ‘jawaan’ dilon ki chaah mein have come out harsh. Also several flat notes like ‘abhi’ in ‘Abhi’ bhara nahin or ‘to’ in ‘to ayi ho’.

Adithi ji this is a beautiful rendition and wonderfully sung by you both. Saqib has very minor pitching issues at some parts but thats only to be highlighted if the attempt needs a 100% flawless rating.
Your hardwork on the diction definitely reflects here!
The track seems a bit faster than the flow of vocals at some occasions. Nevertheless, it’s undoubtedly an awesome performance by you both……Great mixing too!
