Hi,

I use Audacity to record. I know there is an option of adding echo but I am unable to add echo in the recording. What setting you guys use for adding echo. For eg http://www.muziboo.com/bhemanta/music/hume-tumse-pyar-kitna-sung-by-me#
this one has a good echo added.

Any help on this is highly appreciated.

Thanks for Help

Hi Siddhartha……

Don’t add echo…. Use reverb instead…. Anyway these effects are always Used as ‘SEND’ option in the Channel Mixer. Read the help files to get more insight about it…. :)

Hi Siddhartha

If u use Audacity for your vocals and want to add echo just select the vocal track or part of it and apply Echo from effects tab… the Good settings for Echo is

Delay time 0.100000
Decay Factor 0.40000

try these settings and u will feel ur Vocal sounds much better with nice Hall Effect…

Best of Luck
