Nirvana - Come As You Are, Cover by Partners In Rhyme
Nirvana - Come As You Are, ... Lyrics & Chords
Partners in Rhyme cover one of Nirvana’s mega hits back from our college days.
Here are the lyrics:
Come as you are, as you were, as I want you to be.
As a friend, as a friend, as an old memory.
Take your time, hurry up, the choice is yours, don’t be late.
Take a rest, as a friend, as an old memoria
Memoria
Memoria
Memoria
Come doused in mud, soaked in bleach, as I want you to be.
As a trend, as a friend, as a old memoria
Memoria
Memoria
Memoria
Chorus:
Well I swear that I don’t have a gun
No, I don’t have a gun
No, I don’t have a gun
Memoria…. Memoria…. Memoria…. Memoria….
Chorus:
And I swear that I don’t have a gun
No, I don’t have a gun
No, I don’t have a gun
No, I don’t have a gun
No, I don’t have a gun
(Memoria….Memoria……)

George… I guess you may want to do the vocals again on the lower pitch too and put it where you think it fits right!!
You’ve been great on guitars Abhishek!! Cheers… \m/

aah…i love partners in rhyme doing electric guitars finally :)…great stuff !!…Abhishek just curious…did u use a Boss chorus pedal ? George damn !! loved ur vocals !! …Abhishek perhaps u cud reduce the mids on the distortion and increase the level of the chorus pedal….rythm guitars cud be a little tighter…just like half of half a second i guess…a little bit…its almost there…i m not sure if ur having latency issues during recording…if u are…replace speakers with headphones maybe that ll resolve it

Thanks for the comments everyone:
@Sudeip – Thanks for checking out the song man… i was waiting for u’r comments …:) This did’nt come out as tight as i wud have loved it to be, but good i started on this song with the electric, cause this is one of those songs where if things don’t fall in place…it just blows off totally. I know this cause i’ve blown it off live … LOL :). U r right about the latency issue while recording, i played with the speakers on, shd switch to headphones defn. But one more thing, if i use headphones to hear the track, i don’t hear myself playing the guitar, thats why i use speakers? Any help here? Also a frnd pointed out, the drums r a lil lagging behind…that’s again my bad. The Chorus that i’ve used is on my lone KorgAX5G. I’ll try increasing the level and reducing the mids on distortion. Thanks for the feedback pal, i really appreciate it, have a long way to go on electric, i defn want to learn and improve.
@Deepak, Sumit, Akshay – glad u loved the song
@Shashank – Thanks for checking out the song, yeah u r right, its not as smooth as some of our other uploads … the rhythm may be a lil off at places, thanks for pointing out. Appreciate u’r feedback.
