Thanks a ton Sudeip :) am really glad u liked the classic tone…its not on a Fender (owning a Fender Strat is still an unfulfilled dream, plan to buy one next time i am in US, will consult u b4 that). As of now, am still on my battered Givson (am the Givson Guitarist here …lol).
And am really excited about Highway Star buddy, lets do it… am not sure if i am still ready for it but can give a shot.
And u’r doing absolutely fine with Mitwaa man … what range u have !! i loved it!!! sounding like Remo is a big compliment i feel :) in general …i feel u can handle any form, any day, any time !

lol DUDE !!! u stir back old memories !!! i think we ALL started as GIVSON Guitarists !!! hehe….
i brought my first Givson guitar from “Ghosh Guitars” in Ranchi and when it was delivered , for two whole days i was wearing it and showing it from room to room in the hostel….the funniest part…2 of my batchmates…Ashiv and Lovraj were busy escorting me around the hostel calling people and saying “dekho dekho Ghosh ka naya guitar” …u know back in the day i thought it was a compliment but little did i know they were having the time of their life making fun of me !!!!!
and yes when i came to US ….u know people send money home they do this they do that….i went to guitar center and brought my ibanez ! and then i dint have money for like 1 year to buy an AMP !! so i used my Ibanez as an acoustic and i could barely hear anything !!!
thats the story of GIVSON guitars ….lol
Gibson guitarist better read this column ! hey did you ever try the “KRAMER” guitar in chennai spencer plaza??? that guy hated me …cos every week i would go to his store and sound like i am buying this new guitar and i never ever brought one :D hehehe cos i just dint have the money lol ….but he let me play the guitars he had…i think they were korean pretty good actually !
