About this Album
Aalinganam is my second album in collaboration with my lyricist and friend, Alex Abraham. It has been put together for the Malayalee abroad, for it is, in every sense of the word, Aalinganam: an embrace of some of the cherished moments and memories of a place and time that you may have physically left behind, and yet is no farther than the impulse of a thought in you.
I have my albums produced under the label, SwarLaya Music, Canada. Yes, Alex and I are residents of Ontario (Canada), however we continue to have our finger on the artistic pulsations of the coastline of Malabar: Alex, through his lyrics and published articles, and I, through my music compositions and stage performances on keyboards and guitar.
The immensely talented singer, Wilson Piravom, remains one of my favourites. Very few can capture the soul essence of a song as well as he does.
