There you go. One of many haunting numbers of AR :). This song is super patriotic and you’re right, the shenai piece in the song takes it to the next level. Thats the speciality of AR. He always experiments with instruments and gives it a sound that most of them would not have given that kind of treatment :-). AR loves the song himself and no wonder, the song features in every tour of his.

I also covered this song in Tamil but I still want to do this song fully well :-). Superb song pick for the Independance day. Great singing & expressions Unni. Liked it a lot. I can hear this song any day, any time……
