I am a big fan of Hariharan’s singing and had a chance to speak to him personally when he came here for a concert backstage. His voice is so soft even when he speaks:-)

Being a big fan of your voice, this song is a triple treat to me (your voice coupled with the Hariharan and ARR factors)….

Missed the sangathi at “vaazhum vaNNam”- why did you omit it? :( “Manasu Nirame”- the sangathi was delectable! :) Also “Kadhalin niramundu” was a fantastic idea!

Diction is the only complaint, Unni. Koracchu shredhikkaNam in that area- then you will make a complete singer. :)

Unni, Superb effort! very well sung! Liked the last stanza more than others, since it was perfect w.r.t. diciton n excellent feel too n liked the fading out part towards the pallavi joining. Bhoomi thoda pillai paadham n the following line cud hv been crisper. And do improve ur diction as Adithi mentioned. Your voice absolutely sounded beautiful in this song. Also your subtle variations were nice! So you can imagine how much I enjoyed ur song! Thumbs Up!!

Hi Unni, beautiful song, and well done. Your voice is a nice contrast to Hariharan’s typical one. I loved the Niram undu harmonics after the first stanza (you did that part, right?), you could have done a lot more harmonics, your voice is very good…
And I loved the ‘Un kannil minnum…’ a lot. The Bhoomi thoda pillaiyin paadam would have sounded quite magical with just a tad more echo…
