You are slowly sneaking into the league of versatile linguists which I am also dreaming of. Think your song picks are giving u the boost to perform. Very fresh voice. Make the best use of it. Right from the start till the end, u maintained the attitude without any ebb and that secures the mood of this song. You have done justice to the fullest without any compromise. Diction issues – am not sure of and so cant comment on that. Is that so very difficult to learn by-heart the song with correct enunciation and deliver?? Hope u definitely can. Listening to your song for d 1st time and must say enjoyed it totally. I’m from Mumbai and I actually did not feel there were any issues with your diction apart from few places wherein HAI in DIL TOH BACHA HAI JI line sounded like a southie.

But the way you have rendered the song and also your voice was amazing. Sounded more like Hariharan Sir.

Wow!!! I was actually searching for this song ‘dil to bachha hai ji’ and I got this link and I listened to this couple of times and wondered Rahat has such a fine voice. After listening several times as well I did not realize that this was not original. On reading the comments, I realized this later. Then I listened to the original, but voice quality was more clear in this. I am so impressed that I am forced to drop my comments now. I will now look for more songs sung by you in this site.
