Bio

The Playing Syndrome.

Have been playing bass/some guitar for over 15 years (over 10 years in the NYC/Tri-State area). My writing /composing skills are still evolving. My musical heritage institutes consumed angst years :) immersed in dissecting music,audio-speak and endless eons of practicing, listening and playing- all with a transparent open mind.

In the late 80’s experimented with various collegiate bands in India and after moving to New Jersey in the early 90’s, I started playing with accomplished bands in Manhattan learning different genres. This helped institutionalize a mix of styles,which I incorporate into my playing. I play & collaborate with various home-grown musicians in the tri-state area and love experimenting with Indian percussions and bass mixology.I currently play a fender precision and an ibanez SR 400. My passion is music and it keeps the great power of soul and spirit ablaze when Im not working . Original music is my mantra and it keeps the path to Musical Nirvana wide open.Its a humbling experience and yet so human.
