Shampak and Vidya ….excellent effort ….in fact Shampak I had difficulty in spotting your voice more …you sound a little different in this one:) more like shaan. Could easily spot Vidya’s voice….:-) Personally I thought shampaks voice needed more projection in the mix…as compared to Vidya. Felt as if vidya was standing near the mic …and you are singing from far …LOL

Overall very soulful singing ……keep it up.

Its a lovely duet. Pleasure to listen to. As pointed out above, there are some issues of mixing like your voice is in the background, lack of clarity and different effects being applied for male/female voacls.
Try to bring the vocals to center. This is basic mixing….Too much experiments with plugins or inappropriate use of Reverb causes mixing issues.

Female part is half than yours but effective. Overall cool work.

@Shampak & Female singer – I liked it immensely! I heard it yesterday but my internet screwed up & I could not leave any comments that time. The expressions were very good by both of you. Just that I felt a bit of strain in Shampak’s voice in the 2nd stanza. They are indeed very very high notes !

Shampak, except for the mixing issues which have already been said about, I liked it immensely. SUPERB!!! Not an easy song to sing at all!!! This song suits your voice perfectly.And Shampak….am sure that it’s either Vidya or Kuhoo….the female voice…. :)

Your harkhats were awesome, very precisely but still non chalantly delivered. Those high notes were a little stained, but then were no less beautiful to listen to. Not an easy range to reach…

Female singer— whoever you are…… beautiful voice and I am leaning more towards Vidya and a clone of hers!! LOL

Very well sung man. Not an easy song to cover. Great job hitting the high notes. You are definitely one of my fav voices on muziboo. In terms of improvement, I felt your voice was a little too thin in this in terms of mix and the levels should have been higher. I felt in parts that the singing was a little too controlled and not free flowing.

The female voice was excellent! Not sure who it is, but my guess would be Vidya as well!

After so many weeks of search I could not find from where I can purchase microphone for recording (compatible with laptop-but without needing any external sound card). I have seen information on Seinnheiser microphone but not getting any supplier in India. Which mic you have used satisfactorily. Shampak – good song selection based on the pitch of your voice. The mixing could take a revision for the better.
I could not guess who the femaerallreat job ovle singer was, but she too has done well, except when she sings the aalap, the modulations had some imperfections in them.
v good job overall!
