One of the best compositions of Vidyasagar and the original female original singer of this song, Sadhana Sargam had sung this with the appropriate expressions inspite of the linguistic barrier… Knowing the capabilities of you both, I left wanting for the missing ingredients…

Srividhya! Your bold tone, in some songs impedes the listeners from relishing the richness of your voice… I mean to say, you ought to purview the lyrics and understand the gist when it comes to cine-light songs… This is one such, where you need to lay back your voice and emote the feminine modesty… I hope you get my drift… :-) A laid-back voice with subtle expressions oozing out from the heart will do… Am not an expert in that vertical, though… And some of the nuances could be better since your caliber has set an expectation already… Wish these insights are taken in a right spirit… All the best and would look forward to your next post… :-)
