One of the best compositions of Harris Jeyaraj and Bombay Jeyashree combination. I love this so muchhhhhhhhhhh, infact once the movie released, I rushed to every corner when ever I heard this song on TV…. Watched this movie many times in theatre especially to watch this song and Kamalini’s short but powerful role……

Ramji- Learnt from the write-up that this song is close to ur heart…. A big hug da rajaa for this song…. It took around 21 years for Unni Menon to sing his second song for thalaivar Kamal Haasan, after ‘Pon Maaney’ song from ‘Oru Kaithiyin Dairy’ (1985). I could closely match you to Unni Menon bcoz this song suited you very well…. Ramji, ur voice is so clear and it looked as if u’ve sung this so effortlessly but beautifully…. I think ur greatest plus point is that each word you utter is clearly heard, which in my opinion is the foremost requirement of a reasonable singer (SPB sir would be so keen in diction)…. Spashtama irunthuchu un ucharippu… Konjam extra feel kuduthurukalaam kannaa…. First duet kamal sir duet, kalakkura Ramji…. I liked ur cool attitude while singing, high pitch la entha strainum theriyala pa…. ‘Thavikkindra’ at 3:47 could have been given extra feel as the whole song portrays how much Kamal sir misses his pair Kamalini after her death…. Oru velai Jothika thaan second heroine irukaanga la appdinu feel kudukka venaam nu nenachitiyo. Ramji, I am not going to revolve around the said pointers because I know you could do better and you would be certainly better than what you are today…. Naaney paadum pothu unakku enna Ramji dhool kilappu…. Panning towards the end was really beautiful…. Few things not well planned might get well executed by itself. ‘Izhuthaai’ at 4:21 la correcta izhuthurukinga Roshine, minute but perfect work. Roshine ji, undoubtedly you could start trying more B. Jeyashree’s songs…. Echo effect nalla irunthuchu Roshine ji, it really gave me a theatrical effect…. Very nice to hear…. Good that u r improving a lot in mixing…. Best wishes Ramji for future renditions…. Am really impressed with ur diction and singing and hence favoriting this……

Only the hearts filled with terrific confidence would go and take a plunge…. And people born with such hearts begin to march successfully the moment they decide to…. These words could surely be attributed to Padmashri Kamal Hassan…. When he was spotted by AVM Chettiar for ‘Kalaththur Kannamma’ and got taught for the role, think he would have fixed up his mind to reach for the stars and eventually he has won the National Award for the best child artist for the very movie…. Then he took a 9-year ‘respite’ to pursue education and to learn ‘Bharatha natyam’ and ‘Karate’…. After he came back to acting in movies, he never looked back taking his position on the saddle of the winning horse…. :-) Need to learn many things from his professional life…. In this context, am always more than happy to proclaim that am a fan of Kamal Hassan…. Long live Kamal Hassan!!!!

Vettayaadu Vilayaadu – after hopping over many barricades, grossed a stunning harvest at the box-office and also got acclaimed critically for the plot, cast and other ingredients…. Kamal has perfectly enacted the life of a tenured police official and most liked it very much except for the raw and hardcore scenes befitted to substantiate the psychic nature of the antagonists in the movie…. Now enough is enough… :p

Rosh!!! Another stunner from you…. :-) You seemed to have started the song with a tremble in your voice hinting us that u were at a sort of tentative mind-set… In the Charanams, you have clouded ur voice with the correct proportion of expressions…. Slowly you are building ur castle in Muziboo…. And the gains in both of your voices seem to be unequal…. Your part alone was having an extra pinch of softness and it may be due to the bass imparted while mixing…. And panning towards the second charanam was a nice thought and aptly accomodated… Kudos…. However off-notes were noticeable in few places…. You definitely can overcome those misses, if extra care is taken while rendering…. Kalakkarey Rosh!!!! Fine work with this song pick….

Konjam romantic ah paadi irukkalaamennu oru chinna aathangam…. Wish I should have been there with u while recording this…. Dwarak sonnaa maathiri, this is the second song by Unni Menon for Kamal after his debut song in ‘Oru Kaithiyin Diary’…. Koundamani-Senthil comedy – Villupaattukkaaran padaththula varumey – athu thaan gnyabagam varuthu ippo…. Senthil thavil vaasikkum pothu Koundamani vanthu utkaarnthu iruppaar…. Appo thillaanaa vaayila vaarthai varaa maathiri vaasikkanumnu solluvaar…. Athu maathiri un diction was sounding the best(thavil la vaasikkara maathiri ganeernu)… Am happy about this first duet with Rosh, who is known for her benevolence and flexibility…. Welcome aboard to duet singers’ club(nee already paadinathu male duet, intha club male-female duet club)… And my pointers are confined to the fulcrum of any cine-light music songs… Expressions…. You have fixed ur mind that u should not miss out any details, I think… I could guess that… For any song to be delivered with ease and with the feel and expressions, you have to do only one thing… Put urself in the actor’s shoes… here u should have kicked Kamal outta the scene and u should have taken seat on the Bullet(manasukulla ninaikkanum pa)…. :-) Konjam sirichchundey paadu… ‘Kan paarkaamal’ sounded the best…. Hugs…. All the best for ur future works and God bless you anney…. :D

Ramji – Good singing mate! I loved your voice and singing when you sang at BMM… :) You have a good voice… Only thing I would say is to work on the feel and expression factors a lil bit more, which will give a better edge to the song! Nevertheless very good effort in covering this one bro!
