Nice composition RomitG :) Its always nice to listen to originals and as Kumar said, it takes a lot to do that ! I think arrangement could have been better to do justice to your composition. Some pointers which I could think of are -

0:58 & 3:53 – a smoother entry of that typical backing chord would have been nicer.
2:15 – again a smoother entry of the extra beats

Also agree with Max’s comments.
