After a couple of weeks of throat issues and a pc crash, I’d been trying a couple of songs very seriously. To my extreme seriousness, not one of them has materialized to satisfaction so far. :) Meanwhile, I just found this track today, and was tempted to give it a try.
Nothing special went into it. Just did it in one stretch, simply for the fun-filled attitude of the song! :))
Would love to hear all your thoughts on the attempt…

Woooow for the pick. Thats the first reaction i had when i saw the mail alert. :) The song is very diff, stylish, full of attitude and have a melody touch also. Typical Rahman song.
Mixing – Needs more care.
Singing, in some places i felt the gamagam coming.
Other than that super singing. :)

Nicely sung but some sync between the karaoke and your voice is missing (Mixing issues??) ….Did you do this in a hurry ? no matter what….I loved it.

I was wondering I missed mentioning something in my write-up, now I remember…. :)
It was your comment that made me try this track as soon as I got it y’day…hehehe….
I first thought of the Hindi one, but the Hindi lyrics don’t have the same style as the Tamil one, so stuck to original… :D
And yes, I did this within the next hr of getting the track, only coz its mainly a fun song…:)

aana thank you very much, neenga sonnadula actually matter irukku. In college, a few friends and me had once danced for this song, for fun. While singing, it was that which I was remembering….maybe it reflected on my singing…:)

I could not stop dancing, the moment the music started- Hats off to Oscar Rahman. Very cutely rendered, ur voice sounded so much like a kid… May be If I ask you which college are you currently studying in, you may come with a reply ‘College aah naanaa, apram anga oru voice mummy nu’ lol…. As you mentioned in the write-up, numbers like this may not happen as planned, but it would jus happen spontaneously and yet successfully…. So energetically performed in style. There seemed to be a mis match between the karaoke and the singing in terms of synchronisation. Despite this, I had to admit that this cover made me dance, thanks to ur attitude, style and adaptation of ur voice to suit the feel of the song….
