Rashmi & Ravi, listening to you here in New York, separated by almost 9,000 miles from the land of my birth and fifty-plus years from the first time I heard this song, time and distance shrank to the here-and-now as if in a miracle. I wish I could have been there when you recorded this. I think it supasses the original in more than one way. The instrumental accompaniment is superb, the harmony of the instruments and updated composition and inflections flawless. Keeep singing. Please don’t stop.
