BTW, did u relaize something about this song ? The humming behind “Odi alaindhu” is highly reminiscent of the song “Halke Halke Chalo Sanware” which features a similar humming.

The last humming that comes in this song has a small anecdote in my life. In the concert that happened with P. Susheela in Atlanta in 2005, after all the songs were over, Susheelamma started humming this in akaaram. And she gestured me join. Oblivious of the humming and the fact that it found a place in this beautiful song, I ended improvising on it over and over and thankfully warmly received by both Susheelamma and the crowd ! It was only later I came to know that this humming found a place in this beautiful song.

Even after taking the superior recording conditions available to you in comparison to Srinivas and Susila, I must say that both your voices are stronger and the orchestration far superior. I never liked the female chorus that acompanied teh original singers. It made the whole thing sound far too juvenile.
