SPB is a very versatile singer and can still sing for younger generation actors like Surya. He has proved that yet another time and when it comes to pathos songs, who else can best express the emotions other than the great SPB? SPB sang for Sivakumar, his son Surya and might sing for Sivakumar’s grandson :)

There is nothing special about this tune as Harris has yet another time recycled his own tune (some might feel that his own tune might have been recycled from another composer’s tune:) But, the point is SPB gave life to this lyrics penned by Kabilan. I enjoyed singing this song and hope you enjoy listening to this rendition.

Good to hear your voice after sometime. You are right about the tune…an ordinary one…but I loved it only for the simplicity of using SPB voice projected so well with clarity and awesome expressions.

You have brought the mood of the song so well maintaining the same mood and expressions. Mixing could have been little better I felt…clarity in the mix was missing. In Pallavi “Pola” note is slightly different than what you have sung.

I know…you just go for your recordings as an when time permits. With that limitation, these minor ones are justified…

@Anbu, Yes Anbu. SPB makes ordinary tunes sound extra ordinary with his vocals. My mixing seems to get better and then I start messing with some settings and affect the quality :) Excellent observation on “Pola”. You’re correct that I sing when I find some time, quickly mix it and upload it. Since you’re a very sincere listener and to appreciate your time, I sang the pallavi again and mixed it. Hope you like the new version.
