First of all, I’m very excited and happy to introduce my daughter Aditi Raja (9yrs old and goes to 4th grade) into Muziboo. I’ve convinced her to sing with me. She has kindly agreed to sing during her break in between her homework and carnatic recital!!! It took her 3 rehearsals before she recorded her part in a track. I recorded AR Rehman and SPB parts in 2 tracks. I tried singing in bass voice in a few places like Robo Robo pala kandam etc., and hope it sounds good :))
My mixing is not all that great and what you hear is what I could do with my minimal mixing experience. I bought this track from Gekamo aka TamilMidi.com and had to fix it a bit to add the initial missing bgm.
Coming to the song, when it comes to Super Star Rajini’s movies, who else can sing the title song better than singing thalaivar SPB. AR Rehman and his daughter Kathija Rehman’s singing along with SPB made this song really interesting and a very special combination. Enjoy this rendition.

Raja – Various shades of voices in this delivery. Loved 2:28 Enthira felt damn good. Awesome rendition Raja. Great work on the mixing of various vocals just classic. The lower/bass voice sounds fantastic Thalaivar style and felt shades of it in bass and ‘ah ha ha’ Enjoyed it to the core.
Especially 2:59 those voices together
Immediately on 3:02 Karuvil…you were classic in that. Hats off!

Anbu, Thank you so much for your nice comments on our singing and blessings to Aditi. Octave shift ellAm paNRa aLavukku enakku mixing theriyAdhu, Anbu. Few effects I used are reverb, Echo Chamber and Chorus. For endhiran veezhvadhillai and nAn kANbadhu ala piRavi lines, I just shifted the same track a few milli seconds to get that effect. Here’s how I recorded the charaNams if you are interested: I recorded 4 lines of CharaNam 1 in pairs ie. Naan Kandadhu ARaRivu and nee koNdathu pERarivu and the rest in single take. For 2nd charaNam, I recorded higher octave lines in one take and the lower octave lines in another take. UI recorded all Puthiya manitha boomikku vA chorus lines separately.
