I was taking a nice break and can’t resist recording again as soon as I saw this song posted by Hari. This is another one of those great songs of Ilayaraja and SPB combination. This song is from the movie Naan Paadum Paadal produced by Kovai Thambi with Sivakumar, Mic Mohan and Ambika in the cast. Seer Kondu Vaa, Devan Kovil are some of the other super hit songs in this album.
Well, this is a tough song and requires more attention to the beats. I recorded it in one stretch (ofcourse after practising it 7 times) but still the output is not very convincing for me. But then, I gotta stop at some point, right?? Please listen to this rendition and provide your valuable feedback/comments.

Meera, Thanks for your comments and feedback. The 2nd yEno has higher volume level than the 1st one (in the original) and when I tried to reproduce I might have missed it. Thanks for the pointer and will fix it when time permits.
Thats an encouraging note about the mixing. Still playing with different effects in Adobe Audition 3.0 :))

Another fav of mine!!! Kudos for picking this number as this will trick the singers to miss out the tempo/beats and flow… A real tough one to sing it live and in one-pass… :-) As I mentioned, flow could be improved and that grace in the original version which appeals to the listener is missing… You can definitely deliver better being a live performer… Keep posting… All the best!!!

Raj, Thanks for the nice comments and feedback. It is indeed a challenging song and the biggest problem with one take singing is that some takes will have better sangathis in pallavai while the other ones are better in saranams. For some reason, I don’t feel like recording in bits and pieces and thats why it feels weird for me to sing duet songs without the female singers in the same session. But, hey these days with so much improvement in technologies, no one sings songs together in the same room. I’ll post a better version when time permits.

Superb, few places could have been better but overall i loved the rendition! You seem to be like me who is comfortable with single take than multiples :) God, i wonder how people do multiple recording, mostly i end up with headache :P
