Jayachandran is another one of those great singers when SPB & KJY were dominating TFM. Jayachandran’s pronunciation and his intonation is very good and in fact better than KJY. He has sung very good romantic numbers for actor Vijayakanth in Ilayaraja’s music. This track is very bad but I love this song so much that I decided to record it anyways :)) Janaki is awesome in this song. I sang both male and female portions and turned this duet into a male solo. I like the line “KalaigaL Nee Kalignan Nan” and tried to match Jayachandran’s voice in that line :))
