Rajathi Raja is a movie that will be remembered for the combination of two Rajas: Style&Vasool Raja Rajini and Isai Raja Ilayaraja :) This movie was also produced by Ilayaraja’s Pavalar Creations. So, Ilayaraja gave some of his best tunes for this movie. Mano rocked in this movie with quite a few numbers like Malayala Karaiyoram, Vaa Vaa Manjal Malare, Meenamma Meenamma, en kitta mOdhAdhE etc.
I think this was Nathiya’s last movie before she got married. Like SPB and S Janaki, Mano and Chitra have given some excellent duets and this is one of those duets.

A classy pick from a bouquet of choices from this album! I loved 0:44-46,, 1:53and 2:04 the mano’s specialization of birugas.Enjoyed a lively and effortless rendition covering both the segments of male/female with classic timing.
Very true the movie’s soundtrack was awesome and the first song ‘Malayala’ nice picturization and what a song. Looking forward those ones if you have not yet done.
