This is an awesome TMS song in the movie Naan Vaazha Vaippen with the music composed by IsaiGnani Ilayaraja. It is very sad that the ardent fans of both TMS and IR didn’t get to listen to that many great numbers with these two legends in action because of their bigger egos. I’m sure many of you know about what went wrong between them but in the end tamil film music was the biggest looser because of their egos. When I hear TMS sing “En Rajathi Kanne KalangAthiru”, nAn kattAyamA kalangiduvEn. ahde mAdhiri “kaNNE unai nAn vAzha vaippEn” line pAdumbOdhum orE urukkamA irukkum. Adada enna oru bhAvam, feel!!! adhudhAn TMS!!!
Having said that, they still gave such great numbers like “Enthan Pon Vanname”, “Then Malli Poove”, “Andhapurathil oru Magarani”, “Neramidhu Neramidhu”.
The track does not have the beautiful starting tunes and I have to skip the 1st “Enthan Pon VaNNamE” and start with the 2nd “Enthan Pon VaNNamE”. I just came back from a long day of work, very tiring and just recorded this song in one take right after recording “Pani Illatha” and decided to post it as is. I’ll definitely record this song again sometime this week and post it.
