Bio

Singing and writing code are two activities that I love the most. Besides those two, I am very passionate about dancing, writing and acting. I founded a tamil light music group in the bay area named “RAAGALAYA”. Please check out http://www.raagalaya.net to know more about my band. I try to reproduce any singer’s voice after listening to their songs a few times. I always keep myself up-to-date with new Tamil movie songs and their lyrics. I have performed light music shows for prestigious organizations like Greater Atlanta Tamil Sangam , TEAM, Bay Area Tamil Manram ,Bay Area Telugu Association and TNC . My light music performances for Tsunami Fundraiser Show, Chithirai Kondaattam 2005, TNC Kalai Vizha 2005 had won acclaims from the audience and rave reviews in Thendral Magazine. I am known in the bay area light music arena for the rendition of melodies and fast numbers with admirable grace and aplomb.

I was a member of Sanhiti , a south Indian dance troupe and has performed in their shows “VANAVIL” and “VIBES”. I possess good writing skills and wrote the comedy skits/scripts for my light music shows. I also debuted as a choreographer and skit director in BATM’s Chithirai Kondattam 2005. In addition to singing, I am also a humorous speaker and had rubbed shoulders with Sun TV & Sivaji movie fame Thiru. Raja, Jaya TV fame Professor. Thiru Gnanasambandhan and Vijay TV fame Thiru. Mullai Nadavarasu in Patti Manrams hosted by BATM. I started learning carnatic music from Thiru. Ashok Subramanian but couldn’t continue but someday would love to get back to carnatic music.
