I have not given much attention to this song before. After listening to yours, I went back to the original version and listened to it carefully. Man, you really have a sweet voice….sweeter than Madonna.

Regarding the mixing…. I think, Ray of light album was composed with mild muffled tones with very low dB on extreme frequencies to depict the feel – “ray of light”. Though I like the over all mixing, a little easy on the extreme frequencies would have made it sound even better!

Mesmerising Rashmi … nicely done and it was sweet.

More open throat at the low registers would have been even nicer. Also felt rhythm was kind of heavily compressed and could have done with less high freq. and more bass instead.

Good pick of song. Nicely performed but could have been better.

I felt a little more attitude in the song would have done wonders (like accent stresses on some word with some base in voice, like the words FROZEN). The original song has a very haunty feeling which was missing in ur rendition. Infact ur rendition, was sweet :). IMO, The MMMMMM parts should have done like MMMMMMMM not HAAAAAAAAAAAAA as it does not potray the haunty feeling……

But I am not sure about ur interpretation of the song. Overall the song was sung perfectly but the feel and connection in the song was missing for me…but thats just me….:)

You gave a different touch to this song. It still touched my heart and soul, my soul was swaying to the song as your divine soul and voice pervaded all through the song.

Lovely Di I want you to sing more Westerns numbers also, I will definitely suggest some very soon. This is because I have identified that spark in your voice for Western singing also which would suite some songs so well that no one else could sing it as well as you.
