Loved this guys!!! Nice choice of song and very well executed. It was refreshing to listen to this song after so long. Thanks for that. Rashmi, you sound beautiful! Sriram, I liked your vocals too. However I felt some tempo issue in your vocals. Felt the track might not have been sync’d for whatever reason. But other than that, great job!!! 5/5

Thanks a lot Sreeharshan, Ramya, Janhavee, Kumaran, and Radhika. Glad you all liked our rendition.
The slight tempo issue is due to my inexperience in mixing. Sriram had sent his vocals with the right tempo, but when I mixed it with the karaoke and added the effects, there was a slight latency. I have corrected it as much as possible.

beautiful Pick….one of the few ARR numbers which has stood the test of time……
Rashmi is just way too brilliant, espeically the feeble hums….just loved it… well done !
Sriram :I liked the way that you attempted this, with a casual feel(not to mean you did not try hard)….you just need to find a suitable effect that closely matches your voice with the tenor of SPB….and you will sound much more brilliant….other wise nice,My view

Superb! Nice expressions. Rashmi, anubhavamo…. was nice! Keep it up.
Murali Venkatraman said
Rehman cannot take credit for the pallavi of this song since it is a direct adapatation of “naada vindhu kalaadhee nama nama”. however, the rest of the song was beautifully constructed by him
Rashmi:
Some struggle at high notes but nothing that deters the listener. And yes I found your tone to be sweeter than the original! Sollukku theriyaamal line reminds me mildly of your earlier sub-fractional pitching / flat note issues which were absent in the recent songs like andholanam. And in tamil there is no “bha” as in anubhavam. it is just anubavam. Overall, very nice !
Sriram:
One song where you shed the elephantine influence of SPB on you was gopaangane. This song did not have much to challenge you though. And you have done well enough. Personally, I woudl like to listen to a sriram vesion of the song rather than listen to a version that is heavily based on SPB’s style. For that, it would be nice if you just take any song, assimilate the soul and deliver it in your inimitable way. (But that is just my wishful thinking ! You can disregard it completely if you are enjoying what you are doing !!)
You have a nice tone and a voice that is amenable to sangathis, but just as in andholanam I have a feeling you are still in the process of discovering your strong and weak points in where, how and which sangathis and aalaaps will be ‘natural’ to you. Good luck to you in that journey !
Sriram Srinivasan said
Murali,
Thanks for your insightful comment. You are right, i wish I discover my own style. I agree that my singing has a lot of SPB influence at this time. I will keep trying different songs please check them out and let me know if something stands out.

Sriram: Some parts of the song needed a little more expression. Some of it probably could be adjusted by adding a lot more echo to the sound track.
Rashmi: Be mindful of the last parts of words….for example “ellame kettupar” sounds like “ellame kettupa” ….
