Awesome…. I m already a big fan of urs. Neglecting some minor flaws (of course it takes time to be Asha Bhonsleji, but u can get thr), it was just brilliant.

However, just one thing that I noticed is that the tempo of the song was slower than the original (dont know if tht was done on purpose).

I believe its one of the best composition of all times by Khayyamji. I believe that life mein sirf ek hi gaana compose karo, par karo toh aisa jaise ki yeh song and become immortal forever. :)

Rashmi ……beautifully sung ….nice expressions too ….The track is a bit slower, but since Rekha was doing Kathak in the original, she can still do it in this beats :-) …it doesnt take away the charm of the song.

You have done a brilliant job. By and large your expression and feel was good. I do agree about slight lack of energy…Also the harkat at “AAP ko”(second one in “Anjuman mein AAP ko” could have been more sharper…

You know, Rashmi, I’ve heard lots of others sing this but, to date, yours is, by far the best. Goes to show how much I liked and enjoyed your rendition. Regarding the tempo….that can be changed anytime. Why don’t you try doing it and re-record. That way, no one will have any reason to complain. All the best. keep singing like this. Just spelbound with this one….as I was with Thode Badmash…. Your voice in that song keeps on ringing in my ears…. I didnot find any issues with tempo & energy….may be due to the fact it is so so very well sung…. I don’t know why Surajit & Other people insist on re-recording…. Tempo can be increased or decreased only by Time streach option in Audition3 don’t know about other applications…… Awsome awsome singing…… 200/100…. Cannot judge it on just a mere 5 marks….

Another plus point is that it is a Hindi song…. Otherwise mostly members here uploads songs in their regional languages n it goes over my head…. Becomes even difficult to get the singing coz I don’t know those songs…. Brilliant this one…. One more fav. from you…. I am very familiar with this song as it is one of Roshan’s favorites. In fact I heard the original just yesterday… I will say that you have done a very good job… however I will agree with the folks above about nuances. Mixing also could have been better on this. Vocals should have been at a slightly lower level. It kinda sticks out right now.

Some of the intricacies (“sangathis”) could have been more precise and strong. But I understand the k-track being slower affected the energy/ precision of your singing too.
