You’ve got a clear and strong voice…. quite apt for Kishore-da’s song. I believe you’ve sung this song pretty well…. just with more riyaaz, you can control some mild quiver (usually due to fatigue at higher notes), and bind the notes tigher. Enjoyed the song. Keep singing.

very good attempt Rahul! but pls give more consideration to pronunciation. Example: Jalte sounds like ‘Jalate’ and ‘haal bura’ sounds like ‘haala bura’. But these are minor things, not to worry! More importantly, you are inculcating KK style of singing, which is good for a KK fan!

Wow all the great singers commented while I was asleep :) I uploaded and went to sleep and in the mroning a pleasant surprise. Thank you all for liking it. Yes pitching issues are there I think now I understand. I am using a cheapo mic and I have to put out extra effort to get the right volume. Will get a new condenser mic and try to improve the pitching. Yes Srini the antaras are better than mukhda. As soon as I recorded this a few days ago I got throat infection and my voice is totally gone. It’s very frustrating. Thank you all. – Rahul.

Rahul…nice song and good effort.
Please concentrate on dynamics and pitching.
Dynamics is what to sing with strength and what to sing softer. It will bring about more refinement to your singing. Also try to control your vibrato a bit better….seems like there is wavering there.
Voice quality was good and you can do a better delivery. Listen to originals many times very closely … my humble advice….no doubt soon you are going to stun us all. Cheers.
