Pransh ….all major points covered by Babu. Ghazal is to be rendered softly, when attempted with open throated voice …it changes the genre. You have a nice voice, diction is pretty good ….just work on the finer points….I am sure your best is on the way !

Hi Harish ….I felt it was open throated :-) I just wrote what I felt, also this song is a ghazal…maybe not the kind ghulam ali or Jagit would render. Pankaj Udhas commercialized ghazals to sound like geet :-)

I agree with the pointers provided by Babuettan and Harshan sir… I guess you need to work on modulating your voice according to the mood of the song… Cos this song needs a soft voice to bring out the correct feel… You were good, but then you could have done a lot better than this if you could work on voice modulation… The feel would be much better is my opinion…

Good attempt at such a ‘peppy’ ghazal. You were quite good at your singing but for the harkats which needed more perfection. Also felt you were singing many lines slightly off beat especially in the mukhda and few other places as a result the punch is missed a bit which is the essence of such a composition…According to me you did capture the right mood of the song…Antaras were very good…
