Well done by the two kids! Very nice performance… Playing in sync is not an easy thing… They have done a great job! Please give my regards to them…

Just wanted to add somethg… Am not very sure if I am 100% correct… I felt the notes played for “Sreepaadhame Sharanam” were different from the original… I re-iterate that I am not absolutely sure, cos the way I learnt it was diff… Classical krithis can be sung in many styles… However, I felt tht landing could have been a lil better…

Overall a very nice performance! Keep them coming…

Meena, once again an excellent effort from your talented sons! At a few places such as ‘Sreepadhame charanam’ in pallavi and ‘garudagamanasree’, ‘Thiruvenkadagiri’ in anupallavi and charanam respectively the notes were not precise and within the route of Bowli raaga. This is a limitation of the instrument used (keyboard), which is not supportive in playing precise gamakas. It would help them better to practise in harmonium for more flexibility in fingering.
