Just thought the theka for the line ‘Ek pardesi mera dil le gaya’ is of slower tempo than ‘jaate jaate meetha meetha……’ and that’s is why the song gives pleasure I suppose. I liked your creative approach towards use of taal on dhol. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr8 performance. loved n goes to my favs without saying.

Well ap ke iss sangeet ne bachpan ki yaden taza kar den…. ab itna acha ap ne bajaya hai to mere khayal se ab isey gana bhi ap par due ho gaya hai…. na sirf ap ne enjoy kiya hoga bajate huay balkey sunkar hum ne shayad zeyada enjoy kiya…. aur dholki ka concept bhi khoob raha aise laga jaise kisi ki shadi main dost baja aur nach rahe hon lol…. lovely work… just keep sharing like that Naqvi saheb.

Jabardast! Aur kyaa kahein? Naqviji, aap to bahot bade fankaar hain. Sur-taal ki itni samaz jise hai woh khud bhi bahot achhi tarz banaa sakta hai. Why not try an original composition?
Interlude ki baat aapne bahot sahi kahi. People do not notice but every interlude has a tune. the bridging of main melody and the interlude is an art in itself. Most of the times professional arrangers make the interludes after the MD makes main melody….
Laajawaab bajaayaa hai aapne. I loved the Dholak and the perfection in the timeline….

It’s not hard and fast rule of course.
Bahotse MDs kuchh gaanonke interludes aur music arrangement khud karte hain. In such songs we experience what you wrote. the song and the interlude become inseparable. One more thing that I find interesting in any song is to follow the rhythm. Watch where it stops, pauses or the instrument is changed…. I enjoyed that in your upload.
Tabla laggi in many songs are also amazing.

You truly are an accomplished and complete musician… like all these tips you’re sharing Naqvi ji. I’m only using iTablaPro here to get anything close to a tabla feel, but please enlighten on how you create these loops from scratch. We want to sing so many songs but tracks are terrible and the tabla quality is pretty bad. Really liked the dhols mixed with the tabla. Agree with all my knowledgeable friends above. :-)
