Nice work Maruthi! Initially, I felt something was missing here….Later figured out its that tambourine “jal jal” which would have given the rhythm the filling effect!! Very catchy arrangement! There is too much carnatic influence, considering a light folk tune! But, again a very catchy song overall!
Good luck with your future endeavors!!
5/5!

Nice one Maruthi……Nice interlude……I echo Bala on some rich rhythmic filler.I think the vocal cosntruct is too nice and melodious for the folkish tune I felt….But it is definitely a saleable one Maruthi.
I am so happy for you that you are starting a new chapter in your life, professionally in pursuit of your dreams….May God bless you with all wisdom, energy, tenacity and above all inspiration to be successful……All the best Maruthi.
I keep frequenting Chennai often, may be I can apply for what you have described above:)Pl let me know your whereabouts once you are there !
And get some Irish cream from there……Any regrets of leaving Ireland???am sure you will be having mixed feelings about it now……

Maruthi:
I would first like to salute your bravery. Pursuing the dreams is one thing, but pursuing them in a difficult field is another. In the past I flirted with the idea of pursuing a career in music sometime back. Two reasons why I cannot convince myself to become a full-time musician are:
1. I do like the research in electrochemistry I pursue
2. I am not confident being a complete musician myself especially given no formal background in any instrument or vocals. I have only been a listener and my music seems only derivative – as in derived from my expansive listening.
But you have chosen the path clearly after establishing your credentials in quite a few projects the teasers of which have been posted here. Hence you are in a great shape to pursue music full-time. I really wish you all success from the bottom of my heart.
Regarding the teaser:
While the tune, strings and guitar are pretty catchy, I think the percussion is certainly lagging. The songs needs more instruments to give a fulsome effect, may be a lead flute, some pads and chords. If you do expand in those lines I do not see a reason why it cannot sell. I do not see a lot of carantic influences in the song which Bala seems to.
These aside : So now are you available as a commercial music arranger also ? As in arrange music for tunes of other people ? Or are you planning to be a composer-arranger only ?

Murali , I really feel brave as you saluted me on the independance day……lol. Honestly its not my bravery its my wifes bravery and confidence on me.I do like my proffesion too but I have longed enough about music as my proffesion. So i wanted to know yes or no.
this tune is a thukada Murali nothing was seriously done about this I got a vague idea and just wanted to store it ended up with this and got bored at one point and didnt do anything much on it ….but as a tune its interesting in someway.
I am a composer/arranger. I am not working for other people yet….got some offers but ive happily released out of it.
