WOW !!! Mauruthi ….excellent singing ….but the voice sounds heavily processed in the mix ….you can bring down the volume of the mix ….but fantastic vocals.

Very well sung Maruthi. You have sung this confidently and openly……sounds very nice.
The only slight problem is a metallic tinge in your voice due to the processing. Without that, it would sound even better!

infact i appreciate the mix of this song….that metallic tinge is making it sound very professional…….loved it……please provide a translation for songs that people like me dont understand….will be good to study songs like this….

Probably the best rendition from you Maruthi.
One thing that I find is that you are not able to sing sustained notes. That is wherever there is a moderate-speed transition between the notes (e.g. kodumai azithu vida), you are on dot. But when you are asked to sustain like in “yE” of “uNmaiyum neeyE”, that is when you seem a little unsure.
But your expressions are truly praiseworthy.

Very well sung Maruthi! I have not heard the original. There were minor flat notes in places. But overall sounded great. Excellent expressions also!

Thalai! Pinnitteenga! Good to hear you after a long time, that too a perfect, serious recording (he he, you know what I mean- avoiding all those “casual” attempts!).
But somehow, of all the Kalyanis and the likes I have heard in Tollywood, this in one of the not-so-impressive ones(can’t believe I am saying this, being a diehard fan of ARR). I have always identified the raga with tenderness and am not able to relate it with “veeram”.

Hi Maruthi, Superb attempt. Expressive and bold singing. Sustained notes sound shivering, tat was the only issue. Great job.
Cheers:)

Maruthi….
Great song …Great singing. I liked the confidence in your singing which really is boosting the impact when listening to the song… Slight pitching issues were felt …not however taking the pleasure away ….
Keep it up…

Maruthi,
Not a big fan of the songs of Baba, Your singing was good. You carried the mood of the song very well. You are not able to hold on to those standing notes, but i liked your open throated rendition. Keep up the good work bro.
