This was done long time ago….not a great fan of this song myself. When started singing this there were lots of small sangathis by spb without affecting the mood…….what a great singer he is……. But ilayaraja has retuned natabhairavi again in this song while the old one is from kjs ji from sadma "kannae kalaimanae " there are lot of resemblence in both this tunes from ilayaraja….but he is magical enough to hide this from even seasoned audience.Info

Maruthi, Although this was done a long time ago, it sounded better than some of your more recent ones!!. I liked your voice in this and you have paid a lot of good attention to the nuances. Very well done Maruthi. Bass probably didn’t go right down and Aareraro and Thaalelo were sung not in that sequence which I felt took away some of the sweetness but your sangathis in them were good.
I liked it and I would say the best cover I have heard of this song here. Cheers.

Your voice is very fresh. I think, a little bit of echo and reverb to the voice would make it even better. Some missing sangathis are ok….Instead of modulating your voice to get the SPBs feel, I respect your style of bringing in the originality.
