Good work Maruthi, Great effort. Just be more clear n confident of ur singing, It wud sound better. Attach the lyrics too when possible, they were masked by the orchestration. Enjoyed it.

Maruthi – I agree with all of the above comments. Great work with the arrangement. Nice catchy tune. I personally feel that it will sound much better if the vocals are given a little more effects (may be a lounge type feel, harmonies etc). Also, I agree with George that you can sing it again to improve on a few areas.

How about trying a flute instead of the whistle at the end…(the whistle wasn’t clean enough for me).

But that having said, great work Maruthi 5/5…totally original!! Good Luck!!

This composition of yours is like a modern art as it doesn’t fall completely into any pattern but overall sounds good with rockish heavy metal feel. The strain in your voice towards the end of the charanam also gave the song an authentic rock feel.Good one Maruthi.

Wonderful composition Maruthi. Liked it immensely!!! though your voice suits the mood (every composer who sings his own composition fits the song the best voice wise). If you believe that you can sing this with more perfection of notes, then re-do it a little more time at your hand. Otherwise, I would have loved to hear it in George’s voice as this surely suits his kind of singing. That’s an idea from me :)

Hi Maruthi … the hook of this song is the "Na na na na … " part. That part is better sung with words rather than nanana. Thats my suggestion.

For a single man composition and track work I quite liked the BGMs although there is always room for improvement.

Singing wise … would have preferred to hear it sung by someone else as it seemed like you were too close to the composition; it needed a more cool person to sing it I felt.

Lastly, have you heard “Chinna Chinna Thooral Enna” from Sendhamizh Paatu?. That’s a rain song too that has lovely lyrics. The lyrics is your song were too broad and philosophical for the subject at hand. It brought to light one thing … about how great our tamil writers are in eliciting deep subjects in a few words.

Anyways, well done and keep them coming!.

Very refreshing! You have some key elements in your compositions which make it very catchy. I think that makes someone to like it even at their first hit on this. As you know most of the Indian cine songs will sound good only after listening to it for a couple of times or after watching the movie. But your songs don’t require that. That’s your biggest asset. Keep it up!
