Bio

I am an Industrial Pharmacist who has worked for a couple of years in India then I came to USA for further studies in 1971…… but music has been my passion since early childhood. Long time ago, my parents introduced me to Hindustani Classical music at the Gandharva Maha Vidyalay in Bombay. Unfortunately, the classical training stint was diverted to conventional academic track after a year of Harmonium and 2 years of Vocal training. So, for all practical purposes I consider myself an amateur lacking formal training.

Now that I am getting closer to my retirement age, I have made myself a commitment to pursue that journey I started when I was a young lad back in 1957. I have stumbled upon Muziboo by accident but I am so glad that I have found a music lovers’ community where we can learn from each other.

I am hopeful that all of you will allow a new comer like me to participate and provide me with your wisdom and guidance where I might be faltering.
