Dad… the sweetest word that stands right beside Mom :) If I start saying anything about Dad, will break into tears for sure…! Coz… distance made us live apart now. He had played and still plays an important role in my life…! My sis and me were like two dolls to him :) This lovely song is one of my Dad’s most most fav. songs. So Naanna(Dad)…, this comes ur way… my sincere dedication to you for being such a special father ever and a lovliest person in the world! HAPPY FATHER’S DAY !
Wanted to upload this right away on Father’s day but, was struggling with the mixing part… took long and enough time to record this toughie but could not plan well to get it mixed in time. Thought will do it myself this time instead of loading it on someone’s head all of a sudden though, disturbed Rahul in between! Vishnu…, master ji :)…, taught me some basic techniques in mixing this afternoon! Thanks a lot for your time and patience Vishnu :) Was struggling the practicals after he taught me and it was then Raj came into picture…! He extended his helping hand and mixed it for me… Superfast work! As if, it was made in a machine… :D If this singing was my gift…, Raj had done the Gift packing to it… making it sound so beautiful. This was a very spl. dedication for me Raj and thanks a ton for helping me in bringing it out so well…!

Be sure and attend with some more confidence. You have a amazing voice quality and rendering skills…Open up your voice a bit to hit the notes and nuances. Do not hesitate to give the punch required on the higher registers.if the scale doesn’t suit your voice.Decrease it and try your best.I am sure you will definitely do even better if you are comfortable with the scale.

Kavitha….beautiful dedication to your father. Sometimes a song is not just a song, some songs have special places in our heart because of the memories and stories around it……very heart felt rendition of this beautiful yet tough song. I dont think you are not singing open throatedly…you are singing open throatedly…I just felt that the pitch was a little too high as a result the higher registers felt a little subdued:-) Goes to my favs ….great dedication !!

Visiting you for the first time. What a surprise….female singers are totally dominating this site. Aik se badh ke aik ganay wali yehan maujood hai….Kavitha you are one of them kiya baat hai. Some songs are really that special and when you sing those you try to give your heart out as I did definitely sensed that you not just know what this song is but gave a very bold shot. I always enjoy similar classics and liked it in your voice. Keep it up.

Lovely rendition, Kavitha! So agree with you about Dad – a loving even strict Appa is a sweetheart. :-) As the song progressed, you got even better, not at all easy to attempt a high-range classical song. I think a slightly lower scale will work wonders on this already great effort by you.
