I’m an electronics engineer in the making, born and brought up in Kochi, Kerala. Have been into music for about 12 years i guess… I’m by definition a drummer, but like experimenting with everything :) I absolutely enjoy jamming with fellow musicians. I really suck at singing. Play a little guitar and bass. Dont’t have too much training in anything… I mean, I’ve learned the drums for a month and guitar for two months. So all I have is experience. Thus I’m an eternal amateur :) An avid listener, I like to experiment with various genres and languages. Guess my friends from various walks of life are the ones who got me so much into music and their influences can be seen in my taste. My buddies include hard rockers, Carnatic singers and eastern western (and in many cases, both) instrumentalists. Thus, my taste extends from Hard rock, Metal, Alternate rock, Country, Qawwali and other sufi music, Carnatic, Jazz and composite genres. I listen to english, hindi, tamil, malayalam and urdu songs, a lot of which I’m complete ignorant in terms of lyrics, but savour them nevertheless. My musical gods would be ARR, Jon Bon Jovi, Guitar Prasanna, Ustad Nusrat and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy etc etc etc…. Still at the first step of the LOOOOOOONG journey in music :)
