Pour Anne (own composition) Lyrics & Chords

This is a song which I wrote for my first girlfriend when I was 16 and she was 19.

Older then 19 she unfortunately never got because on the fourteenth of August 1990 she took her own life. You may ask why I wrote such a happy song for someone who ended her life this way ? Quite simple. When I wrote this song she was still alive. I even remember playing it on my white piano for her and she really liked it. And as if she sometimes could be very happy I made a happy song of it.

After she died I wrote another song for her, which (obviously) sounds less happy. I named it “Leaving You”.
